There’s something about the UK, the fog, the rain, the quiet in-between spaces, that has always resonated with my sound. In 2025, I finally had the chance to bring my ambient drone noise project across the country in a longer tour than 2024, and it turned into something far more than a series of gigs.

It became a slow-motion journey, a textured drift through rooms full of listening souls and cities that breathe at their own rhythm.

Echoes from Bristol to Edinburgh

The tour kicked off in Bristol, a city I returned to three times during the run (two times at the Moor Beer and at the Cube Cinema in May). Each show felt different, one steeped in shadows and low-end rumble, another more shimmering and melodic. Bristol was a place where people really listened. Not just heard, listened. Head down, eyes closed, breathing in the delay trails and reverb clouds like incense.

Cardigan was surreal. I had the chance to perform at the seventh edition of the legendary Dr, Sardonicus' Winter Festival at the Cellar, a venue I had the pleasure to play in 2024 too. The venue felt like a dreamspace, tucked away from time. The air buzzed with a kind of weightless energy, and I remember losing myself in a long looped drone that seemed to dissolve the walls around me.

By the time I reached Edinburgh, with a flight from Bristol, everything had settled into a rhythm, not a pulse, but a drift. One of my biggest goals in life was to see Edinburgh and eventually perform my music there. A cold wind and rain welcome us but it was amazing to walk thru those streets full of story and magic. I had the chance to perform at The Banshee Labyrinth for Soundscapism 42 together with Infinity Peaks, Lucian Fletcher and Kamil Kowalczyk.

Edinburgh was colder, quieter, more introspective. It was beautiful. The venue was probably one of the best I've ever performed in and the audience was, as always in the UK, rigorously mindful, silent and respectful until it dissolved into a warm final applause.

Circuits and Spirits

Some venues were small and DIY, others steeped in history or experimental tradition.

I played at The Church of Sound in Nottingham, the legendary monthly ambient and electronic event held at the JT Soar.

At Awakenings in Rugeley, surrounded by synth heads and sonic explorers, I found myself leaning deeper into noise textures, granular hiss, decayed loops, tape saturation. It was meditative and chaotic all at once.

Brighton’s The Spirit of Gravity felt like home. It’s a haven for the weird and the warm. I let go of structure entirely that night, letting the pedals lead. I’m not even sure I played the guitar “correctly” — and that’s the point.

London, Manchester, Leeds... and the Spaces Between

London was heavy, dense with people and expectation. But I found a corner in that noise to carve out something slow, something intimate. The stage lights cut through the fog and bathed everything in violet. It felt like floating. I've performed at the Strongroom Bar together with Arcane Allies and Stereocilia.

Brume Manchester was pure immersion. The crowd there was incredible. I fed off their energy and let the drones stretch further than usual. A long, slow collapse noise into silence ended the set and then a warm applause.

Ambient Leeds was a personal highlight. Sharing space with like-minded artists, each of us threading our own sonic path through the same air. Collaboration, conversation, connection.

Then there were the smaller moments: Lincoln and Chichester, together with a great musician like Keith Sutton of Drone In the Woods. Spaces where you could hear the electricity humming through the wires. People showing up not for a “show,” but for a shared moment of introspection.

A Thank You, A Pause, A Loop

Touring the UK in 2025 wasn’t about performance, it was about presence.

About tone over tempo. About texture over spectacle.

I want to thank everyone who came out, stood still, sat down, closed their eyes, and let themselves sink. Your quiet made space for the sound. And in that space, something unspoken happened — something I’m still processing.

This wasn’t a tour in the traditional sense. It was a slowly unfolding soundwalk, and I’m grateful to have taken it with you.

See you in the next drone.
