[January 30th 2026] – Scenario is the new album by Perry Frank, an Italian ambient music project active since 2006, released by the US label Shady Ridge Records.

The album explores ambient, drone and post-rock territories through processed guitars, tape loops and slowly evolving textures.

Active since 2006, Perry Frank is an Italian ambient music project focused on atmospheric sound exploration. With Scenario, he continues a deeply coherent artistic journey built on drones, processed guitars, tape loops and evolving textures.

The album unfolds as a continuous sonic landscape, where each track blends into the next, creating a slow

transformation of space and emotion. Rather than functioning as background music, Scenario invites deep listening, encouraging reflection, meditation and inner imagery.

Recorded between June 2024 and September 2025 at HomeLand Studios in Sardinia, the album features a clean and spacious production, emphasizing dynamics and three-dimensional sound design, especially effective through headphones.

Scenario represents a mature and focused work, an album that values duration, subtle evolution and emotional resonance over immediacy.

Scenario fits organically into Perry Frank’s artistic journey, representing a further step toward a sound that values presence, duration, and emotional resonance over immediate impact.

ROAD TO NOWHERE

The album opens with a sense of motion without destination. Road To Nowhere unfolds slowly, suggesting travel as a mental state rather than a physical journey. Repeating textures and suspended harmonies evoke the feeling of moving forward while remaining emotionally still, setting the contemplative tone for the entire record.

BACK OF MY MIND

This track explores the subtle presence of memories that never fully disappear. Sounds drift in and out of focus, like thoughts emerging from the background of consciousness. The atmosphere is intimate and restrained, inviting the listener into a quiet, internal space.

DEVOTION

Devotion is built around repetition and patience. Its slow evolution reflects dedication not as intensity, but as persistence. The track grows almost imperceptibly, emphasizing commitment to a feeling, a sound, or a state of mind over time.

GENTLY WASTED

A fragile and melancholic piece, Gently Wasted reflects on time slipping away softly rather than violently. The textures feel worn yet warm, suggesting acceptance rather than regret, and a quiet beauty in emotional vulnerability.

LOUDEST SILENCE

Here, absence becomes presence. Loudest Silence emphasizes negative space, where restraint and minimalism amplify emotional weight. The track plays with contrast, allowing silence and near-silence to speak louder than sound.

DONOVAN

Named like a memory or a person from another time, Donovan feels personal and reflective. The track carries a nostalgic undertone, with gentle melodic fragments emerging through layered atmospheres, suggesting remembrance without explicit narrative.

WAIT FOR ME

Wait For Me introduces a sense of quiet longing. Its slow pacing and sustained tones suggest distance and

anticipation, as if time itself is being stretched. The piece balances hope and uncertainty, remaining unresolved.

ETERNAL TWILIGHT

Neither day nor night, Eternal Twilight exists in a liminal state. The soundscape glows softly, hovering between light and shadow. It represents transition, stillness, and the beauty of moments that resist definition.

The closing track is not a conclusion, but a release. End slowly dissolves, allowing the album to fade rather than stop.
